[Tutorial] Disabling mysql strict mode on linux - badbojus - 08-31-2017

Went in this kind problem today while installing "servers board" plugin on mybb.

I am suing Vesta panel, if this makes any sense. So here is the easiest way i came around with:

Create this file

Code:
/etc/mysql/conf.d/disable_strict_mode.cnf

Place these two lines

Code:
[mysqld]
sql_mode=IGNORE_SPACE,NO_ZERO_IN_DATE,NO_ZERO_DATE,ERROR_FOR_DIVISION_BY_ZERO,NO_AUTO_CREATE_USER,NO_ENGINE_SUBSTITUTION

Restart MySQL with this command

Code:
sudo service mysql restart

Pretty done.
